Who we are
Housewives is Austin's gossip column and social calendar — event recommendations, commentary, and event photography. This policy explains what we collect when you use realhousewivesofaustin.com and our Camera Roll, and what we do with it. We keep it plain.
What we collect
Account details — your email (to sign in and send you drops), and, if you complete a profile, your name, phone number, and Instagram handle. Consent records — whether you opted in to email and SMS, and the version of the terms you agreed to. Event photos — when you unlock the Camera Roll, we link your account so you can find and download photos from events we covered. Basic usage data — standard device and browser information to keep the site running.
How we use it
To send you photo drops, event invites, and updates by email and text; to run the Camera Roll so you can find your pictures; and to operate and improve the site. That's it — we don't sell your personal information to anyone.
Texts & emails
If you opt in to SMS, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out or HELP for help. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Opting out of messages doesn't delete your account or your photos.
Who we share it with
Only the services that make Housewives work: Supabase (accounts, database, and photo storage), Brevo (email and SMS delivery), Dropbox (where our photographers hand off photos), and Google (if you choose "Continue with Google"). Each handles your data under its own terms. We disclose information only to these providers, or if required by law.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from emails or texts anytime, ask us to remove a photo you're in, or request access to or deletion of your data — just email hello@realhousewivesofaustin.com. The Camera Roll is 18+.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here. Questions? Email hello@realhousewivesofaustin.com or DM @realhousewivesofaustin.
