The Big Picture
Listening to a band whose name literally means chest pain is a mood and also a marketing choice that demands curiosity. Angine de Poitrine, the Canadian avant‑garde microtonal rock duo that recently played Levitation and landed on The Tonight Show, has extended its sold‑out world tour to include an Austin stop. The new date is Tuesday, May 11, 2027, at Moody Amphitheater at Waterloo Park.
What Changed
The tour extension adds North American and international dates to a run that already sold out in Europe and North America, per CultureMap. This new leg begins March 4 in Melbourne and now includes Texas dates back‑to‑back: Dallas at the Bomb Factory on May 10 and Austin at Moody Amphitheater on May 11. The announcement follows the release of the band's second album, Vol. II, which charted No. 3 on Billboard's Top Album Sales.
