The Big Picture
Life is a charity auction where the auctioneer keeps the mic and you keep the receipts. Party for the Parks is happening tonight in Austin — a fundraising party that pairs premium eats, drinks, games and a private Cold War Kids concert to raise money for the city’s parks, trails and green spaces. The event is tied to the Austin City Limits Music Festival and packages an all-inclusive experience with a hosted program featuring Trevor Scott and Sarah K. Wolf.
What Changed
The event was relocated from Zilker Park to Stubb's; Do512 updated the listing on 10/5 to reflect the move. The lineup still lists Cold War Kids as the headlining act and notes the party’s auction component with Cowboy Auctioneers’ Heath Hale leading bids.
What's Next
Party for the Parks runs today, 10/7, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Stubb's; the event page and venue listing are available through Do512’s event link: https://do512.com/events/2026/10/7/party-for-the-parks-w-cold-war-kids-tickets. The listing frames the experience as ticketed and all-inclusive, but it does not publish ticket prices or general-admission details on the Do512 page, so check the event link for purchase and access specifics before you go.
